Follow your heart and find your ambition! (Post #3)

If you can look into the seeds of time/ And say which grain will grow and which will not, Speak, then, to me, (Macbeth, Act I, Sc. 3, 60-61)

In this quote by Banquo, he tell the witches that if they can see the future and say how things will turn out, they should tell him his future.

No one in the world knows anyone else’s future. They do not even know their own future! So what I am trying to say is that no one can tell you what your ambition is! You need to find your own ambition and work hard to achieve it. Of course discovering your ambition is not easy, but you can start finding out from what you love doing. Something you are passionate about.

Here is my personal connection.

When I was in elementary school, my parents have never forced me to become something. They told me to have any kind of career that I would love to be. But my parents always reminded me to do something that I want to be doing. So as I grew up, I found what I would want to be in the future, and I found my ambition by volunteering in a school event called C.C.P (Children’s Christmas Party). In this event, my duty was to take care of children and talk with them. They just made me jolly!

I was able to double check my ambition while working at a restaurant. It was then I have realized that I really enjoyed talking with all age groups. Through this, my ambition was found. I wanted to become a successful social worker since I loved being around children and adults. Talking and laughing with people and also helping people out are some things I love doing.

I hope my short life story proves that no one can tell you what to become. You are who you are and you make your own decisions in life. Dream and become someone that you would love to be. Remember, you should be passionate about it. Do not listen to other people and just follow your own heart in finding your ambition.

How does the topic of the post relate to the overall theme?

What's your ambition? Think about it wisely!
The topic of the post relate to the overall theme because this post talks about finding your ambition. Ambition is something that you find by yourself, not by someone else telling you it. In Macbeth, the witches told Banquo and Macbeth their future. I find that wrong! I want others to realize that they should make their own decisions to find their ambition.
